On Seeing

My work is grounded in attention.

I return to the same places over time, allowing familiarity to reveal what is not immediately visible—light, pattern, and subtle shifts in the landscape. I am drawn to quiet moments: wildflowers along a trail, the presence of wildlife, the way weather reshapes a scene.

Photography, for me, is not about capturing images but about learning to see. The camera is a tool for slowing down and staying with what is in front of me.

These images reflect a way of seeing shaped by patience, observation, and time in the natural world.
